The following is a residential project proposed for a client in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Their rear yard is currently in a state of disrepair so they requested that our class prepare drawings and present them with options.

My design begins at the front door of the Brownstone. It is significant, because the home is located in a historic neighborhood built by 19th Century New York society that came to Park Slope as their county retreat.

My design attempts to revive the formal garden tradition as though the garden was once abandoned and is now being rediscovered and improved.
